Biography
Giovanna has successfully represented clients in both state and federal trials on matters including breach of contract, fraud, breach of fiduciary duties, negligent misrepresentation, and unfair business practices claims. Giovanna's practice focuses on business and partnership disputes, where she has successfully prosecuted claims on behalf of plaintiffs and secured defendant verdicts for clients on multi-million dollar liability cases. Her experience spans pre-litigation fact discovery and demand letters, discovery and motion argumentation, active trial participation, through the entering of final judgments in both jury and bench trials, as well as post-trial motions. Giovanna brings a rare combination of hard litigation skills and clear analysis with the interpersonal soft skills that are key to getting the desired results for clients.
Prior to attending law school, Giovanna spent four years in the private sector as a disaster recovery team manager followed by a year in the public sector working for the Puerto Rico Department of Health.
