Biography
Carter Chen is a partner at McKOWN BAILEY, where he serves as general corporate counsel and transactional advisor to business organizations across the United States—particularly Chinese companies operating or expanding into the U.S. market.
Mr. Chen is a highly skilled business law advisor with extensive experience guiding corporate clients from China through U.S. legal compliance matters. He has represented numerous companies, investors, and financial institutions in complex business transactions, while also providing day-to-day legal counsel as their general corporate attorney. In addition to his corporate practice, Mr. Chen is also an experienced business litigator. He has represented a wide range of clients — including companies, investors, and financial institutions—in high-stakes commercial litigation before both California state courts and federal courts nationwide.
